Dear ApfelFlieger
Do you know if Aerofly FS 4 works fine with the latest yesterday macOS Sonoma?
Thanks
Yes, it works perfectly, I used it to convert Mykonos from FS2 to FS4 today and will publish it later.
Enrico

Thank you very much. I see you didn't fear to encounter an incompatibility between Sonoma and Aerofly FS 4.

Aerofly FS 4 Version 4.03.01.18 (20230926)

It's impossible to enter a flight number in FLT NBR of the INIT Page A.
Best regards

I installed AFS4 on steam a day after streaming was announces (Sep 23rd I think). Then, yesterday, I got another beta update, it was around 100mb if I'm not mistaken.

I got it too. I hadn’t noticed it because there was no information in the Steam RSS.
Changed the streaming folder to my F drive, the same 4TB external SSD where Steam and AFS4 live, apart from the bits that need to be on C:\ drive
Started in Sydney YSSY, and after a very brief wait I got these:

Then a quick run south to Nowra, with lots of cultivation all the way down the coast and inland.

Landed there and relocated to Brisbane YBBN Rwy 19L. Couldn't see much cultivation, but I took off and headed for Archerfield YBAF, and the cultivation popped up before I was halfway there. You can see YBBN behind me.

YBAF in sight

and then a nice cockpit-free view of Amberley RAAF base.

It just keeps getting better, although it needs a higher-res base photo - still too much green soup, and a better photo would also give us roads and railway lines.

Aerofly FS 4 Version 4.03.01.18 (20230926)
Each time I use the A320, it maintains 250 KTS inside the SID above 10000 FT. It's not a question of constraint.
Regards.
I'm a bit confused here; you say the streaming currently will override all installed addons. So does that mean you have not made some sort of exclusion for your official addons yet, so that Europe #1, Europe #2 and USA #1 will be "overwritten" by the streaming feature ?
OR, does streaming only override user created content ?
Streaming content on the PC version will be loaded AFTER or NOT ALL compared to the local content. So if you have a custom airport or aerial image and it's installed locally, that takes precedence over the download version.

Thank u. Although I'm not entirely sure how the priority loading system works. But I'm curious if it will have any performance impact at runtime? I mean when the system selects what to load, does it load only the high priority content or does it load both high and low priority content and overwrite the low priority content with the high priority content?

Does this mean, if a level 9 image is installed, then still level 10 and 11 will be downloaded?
Here are some pics around Brisbane as I now see it, with Michael (IZ0JUB)'s AFS2 Brisbane Extra images over-riding the IPACS AFS4beta, and the file structure I am using. Note the AFS2 image files are directly in the oc_au folder, wihout any /images sub-folder.

MartinM: Please do not use '\', instead use '/' and also add a trailing '/' at the end. We will change the code here in a future update.
I seem to have missed all this streaming! Is the storage location selection still as just described or have there been alterations? I tried reading every streaming post!!!
I was against the idea of constant downloading until I tried the new mobile versions.
