View on map is a mess!!

Beats me, I have the exact same problem. In game I see the stripes also! But only when I produce 2 adjacent tiles I think.
The black squares a also very strange because I had them in an area that was just default afs2 scenery!

If possible provide us with your AIC and TMC files and also one of your images.

This is the same conflict I have been talking about in this thread:
Geoconverter scenery conflicts with existing DLC
This always happens when a GeoConvert scenery is near or overlapping an existing DLC. Some stripes will appear within the DLC area. Jeff said this is due to the blend technique used for meshing the geoconvert scenery with default/DLC scenery. Whatever the cause, this is a serious problem and needs to be fixed.

Mine looks exactly the same as the OP.

Well the question then becomes: Why didn't Orbx Lowi cause such issues?
There is probably some other factor?

Orbx Lowi is of different scenery type from that of GeoConvert scenery. It may use the same structure as the other DLC.

Could be. For some reason I thought that Geoconvert was essentially the Ipacs internal tool.

Should there be AIC files in images folder? I only have all the TTC files.
-
Oh and mine is in UK, nowhere near any DLC.

Hi,
question 1: Does the map represent several runs of geoconvert with overlapping areas?
question 2: Have the TMC data files set with overlaps?
question 3: Do you store these images in different subfolders or in a single folder?
Thanks for cooperation.

Hi Rodeo,
1. No overlapping areas. Was 2 areas meeting in the middle. The SE longitude on area one was the same as the NW longitude on area two, in the TMC.
2. No overlap, so as I say, SE area one for example would be -0.30 longitude on TMC, and NW of area two also -0.30.
3. Yes, first area in a in images/001, second in images/002.
Thanks

Hi,
please try this:
Combine both folders in a single folder.
There will be some duplicate files, overwrite them, so you get a single scenery mosaic without duplicates.
Additionally note down the duplicate files and remove the ...mask.ttc file with the same name. This will remove the stripes within your scenery. Stripes at the border of your area are under investigation.
Regarding the black hole: Did you run the whole set of levels from 9-14?
If not, try this.
If yes, try to remove level 9 (perhaps 11 as well) files from your folder.
Thanks

Rodeo, just doing that but it seems a number of the files with the same name are different in size, so do I keep the larger or small files?
Thanks

Although with over 2000 files, deleting the mask whenever there is a duplicate file will take forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
