Can this not be released as official DLC? Just wondering.

Lots on extras included. Large coverage area extending about 10nm past Marathon. Two premium airports, actually 3 when you include the NAS, with many custom buildings, terminals and other extras, lots of cultivation, and great lighting.
Water colors are a bit weak and jagged but you should see the source data.
My biggest disappointment is the two Flat Stanley Carnival cruise ships. I hope we get an infusion of some nice 3d objects real soon, starting with cruise ships and water towers.
For a small team, this was a monumental task and a great accomplishment. Thanks Jeff, Rodeo and Dave for all your hard work. Kudos to all. This makes a great Christmas present to the community.
Just think, Jeff did all of this part-time when not working full time at a day job, full time at IPACS, and full time as a Moderator. Wow.
Regards,
Ray

Ray, thank you for the kind words and the short review. Yes, I find myself working around 17 hours a day, every day, so pointing that out makes me feel good that it's noticed, but also bad now realizing that I'm working my life away
Those cruse ships are the new breed of ship, the tops are only above the water All joking aside, I have them modeled already and will be in v2.0.
Also in 2.0 will be the completed Marathon Airport, a possible fix to the cultivation dilemma, fixed taxiway decals error at Marathon, Southernmost Point buoy, Key West Lighthouse,, maybe a new (first time seen) water masking technique that I figured out for water, and a few other extras .

Very good news with the sneak preview of v2.0. Excellent. This is my old stomping grounds also, especially Marathon.

it's a magical place. That we call our 'second home' and will be our future home in the near future. I'm out there around 2-3 times per year with friends and family.
I've rented many Cessna's and Pipers to fly around while i'm there as well over the years.
The scenery looks fantastic Jeff, makes me more determined to finish what I started.

We seriously considered retiring in the Keys but decided it was better to have our own keys to friend's houses just North of the NAS that live in Montana and Biloxi.
This is what I usually see if I can get a right turn departure coming off runway 27. Look at the size of that one docked at Mallory Square.
Maybe down the road, one of our users can use Sketchup and add the Hyatt, Westin and Margaritaville and a few of the icon buildings near the water.
This could become the icon scenery pack for AF2.

Ray
I've never seen two ships docked there, usually (lately) just one big Carnival Cruse lines ship.

This was taken pre-Irma. I think the big one is the Carnival Freedom.
