Sorry but you would need to use our livery templates. Also, you would need to make sure that any of what you use doesn't have a copyright image in it.

Will you release the A320 template soon?

The liveries from FSX or X-Plane are not compatible with Aerofly. The parts of the aircraft are not on the same spot on the texture. So if you used the existing liveries and just plugged them in then your fuselage could look be textured with the text going up and down instead of left to right, the tail logo could be mapped to the cockpit and the wings might end up getting the engine texture. It's just not as plug and play as you might think.

The liveries have shown us also are from a different A320, they have different engines, so that is incompatible even between FSX liveries and it shows the sharklets, which our aircraft doesn't have.

And for the Q400 the number of textures is probably different and you would get lucky if any part would get even remotely the right color if you just used existing liveries.

    Jan

Well, I had no template for my Extra 330 repaint as well. So it is possible, but a bit of try and error till success. (and i still have a small error at the tires...)

Start with replacement textures with a grid layout. Paint some of the cells with distinct colors you can easily spot on the model. Compile it and try to identify every place for all the parts of the plane.

Et voila, you have your new template for your plane.

    Wish for Aerofly FS 2/4:

    - Flightpath recording on hard drive and replay in sim from different view points

    - Smoke for aerobatic planes

    - Multiplayer or at least watching other people flying sitting on ground or inside tower

I really wish the templates would get released so we can get more liveries.
