Looks great!
Was going to download images from Bing and a better mesh for this area, but may hold off. Is it likely to be released this year?

I have downloaded them. The Bing satellite map and Google satellite map for this area are not good, very uneven and broken.

Yes. And as mentioned by frui:
The public imagery available for this area is horrible (adding to the fact of not being able to use Bing and Google imagery without licensing it). The imagery for this scenery is a custom merger of various public domain and licensed sources to get the best of all of them.
Hey Sasa, how’s progress on this exciting new scenery package coming?
Looks like the real deal. Good work Sasa.

Ray
It looks very nice!
This make me impatient.
Sadly, at these altitudes it will be difficult to fly with our new R22...

Hi,
Sascha has recently posted a map with coverage and airports on the Aerosoft-forum:

Apparently the scenery also moved into beta now...
This will be so amazing, especially in VR (I will have to get VR soon)!
(Only I am still missing a Twin Otter, Porter, Do228 or similar. So the King Air will have to do the Job)

Dornier 27 should work nicely for STOL single engine.

It will work somehow, but the non-turbocharged piston engine will have a hard time up there...

True. But, this one works well at all the airport. Enough lift generated and handles well.

Would you be interested in a DHC-3 for AFS2? Wheels, skis, ampib.?

Seems to be about the P3D version...? He talks about a large area being optional so you can use FTX Global for it instead.

As I understand it, they might do this for the P3D version, but the AFS2 version is still probably released first. Coverage should be the same, but of course you can't disable anything.

Radial only.
Looking forward to Lukla! Also planning to fly in an expedition team in efforts to find Yeti
