Well, I now have a fully populated home town airport with some terrific buildings, houses, and such thanks to Rodeo and Walt W. All was done with FSET and cultivation houses along with all the many buildings, hangars, etc that I could find to bring into the area.
There is much room for improvement when we get the water towers, multi-story buildings, schools, shopping centers, churches, etc., but meanwhile with the first release of the IPACS objects library and all the objects that Rodeo and Walt contributed, my little backwoods town has a very modern look.
This is in the middle of Mississippi and a long ways from any DLC area. That last screenshot with the strange looking building with a golf ball on top is a holding object waiting for the real Golden Moon Casino being professionally prepared by our Moderator.
Thanks Rodeo for your special tutorials and hand holding, and Walt W. for building the earlier airport for me and then contributing all most of the objects for this new one. Michael, this one has taxi ways, ramps and hangars galore. More static aircraft will come later when we get some new models. I might even add a cargo area and bring in those nice FedEx and UPS planes.
Regards,
Ray

Beautiful! Coincidentally I had the Baron out over Colorado today, first chance I've had to take a look.
Just superb, and so much of it!

Not often I take a screen in a flightsim, ignoring the aircraft... I mean, just look at it

Indeedy... Ikb which way from here to the Canyonlands?
You better start from runway 21 of the airport 'Canyonlands Field'. Aspen is to far east from it to start from, see map:

Canyonlands - Utah. Not the big attention getter like Monument Valley or Grand Canyon but worth a look, so I went.
Departed Grand Junction, CO - a quick trip (235 mag) in the Baron.

The view was so good, I entered a holding pattern and, camera in hand, stepped out.

At no time was saturation or vibrance injected.

This really makes other sim scenery look fairly ho-hum.

When in San Diego, don't forget to fly inverted under the Coronado bridge!

you all are talented artists and programmers... What is a pity is that nobody else can enjoy to flyover your nice sceneries (if not as talented as you).... And I'm sure I'm not the only one to be ready to pay to have fun over so many nice places in the world....
I know, I know....It's all about copyright's problems, risks and so on.... It's just so sad that, with Aerofly Fs 2 we have the BEST Flight Simulator of the history, but with sooooooooo few addons, freeware or payware - avalaible....I'm still trusting the good guys from IPACS, and I'm ready to wait again and again.... But I really hope that our FS2 skies will be wider and wider, with more weather complexity, more GA airplanes, and with all the fantastic sceneries we can only admire here....
Best regarfs from Switzerland, from a fs-simmer since 1995....
All that I can say at the moment regarding the sharing of scenery files is that we will look back into this to find some legal options after we finish up last minute stuff to get Aerofly FS2 out of early access. After that we will seek some resolution to this dilemma.
Please give us some more time to get our other priorities out of the way first.
