Boston Logan indeed has six runways, and has the Fedex cargo terminal beside the bay. Follow the river west, and it indeed turns south and back east again... It was also suggested earlier by Kenventions with no response either way from Ray.. TomSimMuc also must have thought the same with his satellite image. Thuster also mentioned a Boston forthcoming from Brunno. So, that's four votes for Boston. Or to put it a bit like the four-person panel on Britain's Got Talent, "And it's a yes from me."

New Scenery DLC for Christmas

Yes!!What a wonderful Christmas gift! I’ve expected sceneries around NY DLC for a long time. Dream finally comes true! Thank the devs. so much! I would like to see some POIs such as the MIT Great Dome, Stata Center and Hancock Tower.
Will the scenery cover the whole state or just Boston area? -
-
ken,
really really close to the numbers. North border just south of Beverly airport. South line near Quincy, west at West Concord, East close enough. -
Ray said a rectangular 600 sq miles which is roughly this ...
Anyway it will make my day

Will the scenery cover the whole state or just Boston area? The MIT campus is there and Killian Court but the Great Dome looks square, maybe they will catch it with an update. I think the Ray and Maria Stata Center is close enough. Got the John Hancock Tower for sure - all 790 ft of blue.
I think you will be very pleased with the first cut. It is almost impossible for 3 non-Americans that have probably never been to Boston to catch 100% of the POI on the first pass.
Here are some WIP screenshots.

Are the terminals (KBOS) built with AFS2 default (or xref) buildings? no jetways?.
Cheers, Ed

Hello Ed, Yep, looks that way. I'm sure IPACS will get their passenger bridges glitch straightened out soon and someone will add the gates. They just released their temporary update for the additional XREF items but the airliner gates are not working. The terminals might also get a facelift down the road. It looks like they were concentrating on all the iconic POIs in and around the city center. The bridges and buildings are spectacular.

Here is an updated version which is nearly complete . we just have to do some clean up.

Full size PAPIs or default 4/10th IPACS?
-
UFO over the river? There's something there, unless it is an ORBX-inspired "floating house"...
-
Kenneth, can you be a little more specific. Maybe which screenshot. how high? Shaped like a doughnut with flashing blue lights?

Reported to VUFON (virtual version of MUFON)... It is something in the virtual sky as it is in every image, and clearly is farther away depending on where screenshot is taken.

Good Ray. On the distant shots, I was not sure. But as I have seen many examples of floating houses in other scenery products, (for another platform, and by another company), I thought I would point it out.
Interesting how close this came to real life. Many of the real-life UFO sightings have a more mundane explanation. However, there are those which defy the everyday definition of "normal."
And yes... My reports to the real MUFON certainly fell into the latter category.

Excellent choice!
My son will go to Amherst for a year, so we will most probably fly to KBOS.
Perhaps we can extend the scenery a bit to the West.

Hello Rodeo,
There are a ton of smaller airports immediately west of the Enhanced Area mixed in with some larger controlled airports. Several to choose from in and around the Amherst/Springfield area.
