I've prepared a little Christmas surprise again: I've restored the next, larger piece of Spain and have seamlessly (as always) closed the gap between Asturias and Andorra. So the Pyrenees are complete.

Today and tomorrow is family day - I'll upload everything shortly.

I recommend installing my stuff in chronological order (because of updates to each other). Installation instructions are always on the download page or in the readme. It's really very simple.

Good news and bad news:

Good: Part 1 / 2 is out now. Bad: Flight-Sim.org is full.

I need only 8 GB more, to complete uploading this part of spain. All Highres-Areas are missing now ( Santander, Madrid ) and other things.

Flight-Sim.org needs Help

Hello downloaders,

Over the past few years you have enjoyed all the wonderful additional images and scenery on flight-sim.org. And this completely free of charge.

This has only been possible with the help of Higgy, who runs flight-sim.org. As you can imagine, the rental costs for server and hard disk space add up quite a lot.

But thanks to even more sceneries, the rented space is now used up. To make room for more sceneries, additional space must now be rented.

This is only possible if users…

Indeed, the most space on higgys harddrives are orthos. These are compatible to AFS4.

And these are needed for AFS4 urgently!

If, when uploading new, better content, the previous worse content would be deleted, that would also help.

Hello, we dont delete things, where are NO (newer? / better) data are on our server.

Thats whats I always tell and write So don't be afraid for this.

In moment we are working in the background .... I transfer many (big) files to Michael`s Server ( https://www.flightxtreme.com )

he had about 400 GB for us

Then .. all downloads ( also of the transfered files ) works (like last 5 years) for our https://flight-sim.org - users

like before all time, no changes for download this for you ... ( the links are in our database in background, no one will see this, works all like before )

So (I hope) next days the most big problems are solved...

Part 2 is out now.

I wanted to take the opportunity to present my roadmap:

I complete the complete Iberian Peninsula, then come the Alps with complete Austria and the French Alps. All seamlessly connected and restored. AFTERWARDS I'll probably do Germany completely and AFTERWARDS Scotland and England completely again if that is desired. And Sardinia. For some reason I keep forgetting about that little hole in my seamless landscape.

What I mean by that:

All this costs a lot of NEW storage space, which can no longer be achieved by deleting old files on Flight-sim.org. New storage space costs MONEY and Higgy bears the costs for this all by himself. EVERYONE who downloads something on Flightsim.org should have given 10,-€ AT LEAST ONCE! Even I myself donated 10 euros at the beginning, when all this was still new to me!

If the giving and taking in a community no longer works, it will soon be over very quickly.

I really wanted to have said that once in the hope that my words would fall on fertile ground.
