    Hi all

First thanks to developers for this awesome simulator and for give us the tools to make our own scenery and planes

I would like to present the CASA 127 / Dornier 27, it would be available this week or next. Im still working on some details but it is almost finished. I want to add the virtual hands feature and dampers ( if I capable 8o)

wow ! Great job Argivo !!! What a nice surprise ! Your model looks fantastic, and it is fabulous to have a high-wings taildagger plane !!!

Would be great to have a retractable wheel/skis version, with swiss registration ( see google HB-HKA, for example) to be able to land on Switzerland DLC glaciers ;-).

Looking forwards to fly your nice bird ! And thank you so much to bring your work in the AF2 community :)

    Friendly regards from Switzerland

I’m working on creating altisurfaces including some on glaciers, it would be the ideal plane to land there, especially if one of the livery had skis ;)

I landed many times successfully on some Switzerland DLC glaciers : it is not so easy, you need to be carefull to find a flat place long enough... and it is not so easy to be able to watch that on the shiny white snow under the blue and clear skies from AF2 (especially in Switzerland DlC).

Some months ago, a designer was motivated to make a Carbon Cub for Fs2... Unfortunatelly I haven’t heard anything about this (aborted?) project... it would be my dream plane... but anyway, the Dornier can do the job as well 😉

The problem is effectively to find a flat place especially on the glaciers who are official mountain landing places.

There are some 25 official places in Switzerland defined in the AIP, but if the default mesh is not smooth enough you may need to create a local mesh for landing.

The next topic will be modelliing the skis behaviour on snow, maybe we can cheat with the friction factor - to be investigated.

Great news this CASA/Dornier - looking forward to flying her ! Hope you fix the stall horn on ground and the altimeter 100ft needle obviously showing 10ft...

    Cheers

    Antoine

    Hi all

Sorry, but I have no plans to add big changes to the plane, maybe a repaint or two in the future. The good news are this plane is a really very very short take off and land plane, I m sure you gonna be able to land off runways in many places

it would be nice have a list of airstrip (grass or gravel) avaible for aerofly 2 fs. I didn't find any grass strip yet...

    Thanks for your STOL!
